Job Detail: OES Healthcare Recruitment is delighted to be working with a market leading international case management provider in recruiting for the position of International Emergency/ Repatriation Nurse.
Position Profile
In the role of International Emergency/ Repatriation Nurse you will be responsible for attending to international emergencies where individuals have suffered illness/ injury overseas, assessing the patient and either coordinating their safe repatriation back to the UK or arranging for treatment in a facility nearer to the patient. You would have core responsibility for the welfare of the patient whilst you will also be involved in the sourcing of treatment options available.
This company provides a range of assessment and case management services, along with their international emergency management and repatriation, and is looking forward to developing this further following a number of prestigious contracts they have recently earned.
Requirements
In order to be considered for this role you must have:
• Very strong critical care experience, ideally with at least 4 years’ experience in Intensive Care, Accident and Emergency or Coronary Care.
• You must be able to stay calm and take control of a crisis situation, whilst having the confidence to take responsibility for the welfare of the patient in this autonomous role.
• Considerable risk assessment skills will be required in this role, as will an awareness and understanding of cost containment and financial implications.
Salary for this position is estimated to be between £26,000 and £34,000, for 12 individual 12 hour shifts per month approximately. Given the nature of the role this may fluctuate.
